2022 Halloween SAL: Halloween Crystal Ball Cross Stitch Pattern

This chart uses 6 DMC colors (1 skein unless otherwise stated): 712 (2 skeins), 580 (2 skeins), 722, 720, 09 and 310 (3 skeins).

You may also choose to use a few (or all) of the specialty Classic Colorworks (CCT) and Weeks Dye Works (WDW) floss instead of DMC (the model is stitched using all CCT & WDW floss):

1. WDW1110 Parchment instead of DMC712 (3x 5yds skeins)
2. WDW2201 Moss instead of DMC580 (3x 5yds skeins)
3. CCT-057 Pumpkin Harvest instead of DMC722 (2x 5yds skeins)
4. WDW2228 Pumpkin instead of DMC720 (2x 5yds skeins)
5. CCT-116 Rod & Reel instead of DMC09 (1x 5yds skeins)
6. WDW1304 Onyx instead of DMC310 (5x 5yds skeins)

Finished Pattern Specs: 

Stitch Count: 129w x 180h 
Design Size: 9"w x 13"h (14-count) or 8"w x 11"h (16-count)
Stitches used: Cross Stitch, Back Stitch, French Knots (Ack!!)*

*Don’t panic! There are only 2 French Knots in the entire design.

Fabric: Model was stitched over 2 on 32-count Lugana in “Dark Cobblestone” from Wichelt (#39847025)

Design stitched on 32ct will fit in 11” x 14” standard photo frame.

Please make sure to cut your fabric at least 3" larger than the design on each side, 6" in total to each side (so for the full design, use a fabric piece that is at least 15" x 19" for 14-ct or 14" x 17" for 16-ct)
