Blackbird Sampler Cross Stitch Pattern Instant Download
Make a fun and easy primitive style sampler with blackbirds, trees, house, moon and stars, with a backstitched Beatles quote "Blackbird singing in the dead of night". Sample was stitched over 2 threads on 28-count cream colored linen (which ends up the same size as stitching on 14-count aida cloth), and fits into an 8" x 10" frame.
Sample features Mill Hill buttons (blackbird and moon, which you can purchase online at wichelt.com) or feel free to just stitch the moon and bird, as the chart has instructions for both ways.
Also, if you are feeling creative and want it to look just like the sample, I used hand-dyed variegated thread from The Gentle Art (but pattern comes with details for DMC/Anchor floss equivalent as well).
