This is a bright & beautiful sampler design featuring seasonal house scenes and a central saying. (There are some areas of full-coverage, and very little backstitch)
Each smaller section is 4.4" x 4.4" on 14-count, and the entire design is 11.4"h x11.4"w on 14-ct.
The cover sample is stitched on 32-count Linen in "Water Lily" (#65203), comparable to 16-count Aida. It would also work on grey, blue, purple, green, beige, or whatever you like! I don't recommend using white fabric, because of the white border.
This chart uses 23 DMC colors (1 skein each, unless otherwise stated): White (3 skeins), Ecru, 3822, 3820, 722, 720, 3609, 3608, 718, 747, 964, 959, 3812, 991, 341, 996, 995, 907, 906, 904, 435, 898, and 3799.
You may choose to use some or all of the specialty threads instead of DMC for a different look:
1. Weeks Dye Works 2223 Saffron instead of DMC3822 (2 skeins)
2. Classic Color Works CCT-222 Honeycomb instead of DMC3820
3. WDW 2230a Persimmon instead of DMC720

Please make sure to cut your fabric at least 3" larger than the design on each side (so use a fabric piece that is at least 18" x 18" for 14-ct or 16" x 16" for 16-ct).
