2021 Halloween SAL: When Witches Go Riding Cross Stitch Pattern

This chart uses 5 DMC colors (1 skein unless otherwise stated): B5200 (2 skeins), 580, 550, 535 (2 Skeins) and 310 (2 Skeins).

You may also choose to use a few (or all) of the specialty Classic Colorworks (CCT) floss instead of DMC (the model is stitched using CCT floss):

1. CCT-229 Mossy instead of DMC580 (1x 5yds skeins)
2. CCT-103 Rainy Day instead of DMC550 (1x 5yds skeins)
3. CCT-261 Baking Tin instead of DMC535 (3x 5yds skeins)

Finished Pattern Specs: 

Stitch Count: 143w x 234h 
Design Size: 10.5"w x 17"h (14-count) or 9"w x 14.5"h (16-count)
Stitches used: Cross Stitch, Back Stitch 

Fabric: Model was stitched over 2 on a FAT QUARTER (18” x 27”) of 32-count linen in “Natural Light” from Wichelt (#65140L). Comparable to 16-ct Aida.

A Fat Quarter would also work if you’re using 28-count fabric.

Model is shown in 11” x 17” standard photo frame, in black.

Please make sure to cut your fabric at least 3" larger than the design on each side, 6" in total to each side (so for the full design, use a fabric piece that is at least 17" x 23" for 14-ct or 15" x 21" for 16-ct)
